We’re at the halfway mark
Six months in. And if you’re anything like me, it’s been full. Of stretch. Of strategy. Of surrender. The kind of “busy” that isn’t always visible - the internal rewiring, the reimagining, the brave pivots. Some days flowing, some days flying, some days flat on your face. All valid.
When I started Elevate with Patrice, I promised real reflections. Not just the polished, postable parts - but the grit, the grace and the growth in between. And looking back, the lessons have been rich.
So before we move into H2, I’m inviting you to pause with me. To reflect. Recalibrate. And walk intentionally into the next chapter.
What the first 6 months taught me and us
Across these weekly reflections, these core themes emerged again and again.
1. You are the CEO of your Own Career
Not just a title — a mindset. We explored what it means to truly own your trajectory. To set your own KPIs. To audit your boundaries. To ask for more. Because no one is coming to rescue your potential. It’s yours to steward.
2. Depth over Distraction
I’ve been far more intentional with my energy, choosing meaningful connection over constant visibility. Whether it’s spontaneous phone calls, soul-nourishing conversations or showing up fully in fewer spaces, I’ve learned that real relationships thrive when we make space for them. Depth is the new currency — and I’m investing wisely.
3. Letting go is a leadership skill
Whether it’s toxic work cultures, misaligned goals or inherited expectations — this season demanded release. We explored how to say no with love. How to honour our energy. And how to trust that not everything is ours to carry.
4. Returning with Purpose
My recent trip to Jamaica reminded me of five things: alignment has its own timing, connection is still the most powerful currency, not every opportunity needs to land immediately, your story is your greatest asset, and rest is a business strategy. This wasn’t just a trip — it was a full-circle moment of reclaiming space, building deeper bridges, and leading with cultural intention.
🌻 And Now… the Pivot
As I enter this next season, I’m listening deeply. To myself. To life. To the rhythm that wants to emerge.
So Elevate with Patrice will now move to a monthly cadence. Less often, more intentional.
Here’s what I’ll be focusing on:
Flow over force. Going off-schedule and creating space for magic to emerge
Deep work. I’m heading to Summer School (Accenture and Henley Business School) building the next phase of Eminere — one that’s less centred around me, and more anchored in its products and scalable impact
More writing, new form. Something is brewing. Watch this Space
The team has redesigned our social media calendar — cleaner, more thematic, more impactful. Less content for content’s sake, more value in every word.
Less screen time. More real life. Because real connection happens offline. And I flourish more face-to-face than behind a feed.

The Power of the Pause
I’ve taken more pauses this year than ever before — looking left, right, back, forward, and most importantly, inward.
Longer coaching sessions. Deeper prayer. All in service of aligning each step with my purpose, not the noise or expectations of the world.
What I’ve come to realise is this: to live a truly aligned life, my mind needs space to rest. When I honour that stillness, when I trust that what’s meant for me will never miss me, when I show up with excellence and clear intention — that’s when the real magic happens.
That’s when I’m at my most magnetic.
